Originally of the Mahjarrat tribe, he invaded Guthix's
world of Geilinor (Runescape) and managed to become a god. Saradomin's rival, he does evil deeds and controls the evil-doers
of Runescape... he can also taint those who are 'impure' with sin to drive them crazy and make them evil. Followers of Zamorak
are considered dangerous, like a cult, and are usually shunned by Runescape society. It was not always this way, but his followers
the dark wizards burned the first Wizard Tower and ended the Golden Age.

to keep balance. He was around millenia before the other gods, and came to Runescape (the world) before anything inhabited
it. He established a natural order, and when it was peaceful, he slept ... for a couple millenia. When he awoke, Saradomin
and Zamorak were present and warring, causing much imbalance and destruction to the world. Guthix intervened and the gods
swore not to interfere directly with the world.
